    Description

Up for auction is this rare cast iron cigarette dispenser in the shape  of an elephant dating  back to the 1930's.  This is one beautiful piece with a highly detailed body of an elephant with the trunk up. There's very little wear as you can see by photos.  There is some rust on the bottom of the stand and some scuff marks on the top of the lid and the body.  The inside of the box is a metallic green with some patina.   The head and tusks are magnificent.    Cigarettes are loaded into  the hinged lid box on the elephants back.  When the tail is turned, a cigarette  drops to the cradle-type holder that is attached to the bottom of his stomach area.  The box holds cigarettes measuring no more than  2  3/4 "  in length.    This rare piece  would make a great addition to any collection plus a great conversation piece  for rolling your own stash of goodies.    I  ship to continental  U.S ONLY.  I will send as soon as payment has been received.    .PAY PAL ONLY.  I use USPS  MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX  shipping which includes confirmation on delivery and a small handling fee.     Check out my other auctions and feedbacks and bid with confidence.
