INDIAN elephant string puppet hand carved painted India sequin felt marionette 8

Description

Carved wooden elephant puppet. About 8" long and 14" tall with the strings and handle. 11 strings attached to 6 post handle. Jointed legs, hips and neck. Hand painted facial details and hooves. Ears are attached with flexible rubber hinges.  Decorations are felt, metallic thread and sequins. Very elaborate. Nicely detailed. There are a few gold beads missing here and there.
Strings aren't tangled.
Felt is nice. Minor wear on the painted hooves. Overall VG+ condition. A nice decorative piece and a working puppet.
