VINTAGE TREASURE MASTERS ELEPHANT FIGURINE WITH TRUNK UP 4 1/4 BY 3 1/4 INCH

Predominate superstitions in Western cultures indicate that the trunk of an ornamental elephant should always be facing upwards and in Eastern cultures it should be facing downwards for it to bring good fortune on the house in which it resides.
I'm listing items from 3 generation estates, my wife's and family estate. The items we found include items that were passed to my wife by her mother, grandmother and 2 great aunts. The items I’m listing are what was not claimed by any family members. Please look at my store to see the variety of items I am putting on, some over 100 years.
This item has a sticker from Treasure Masters in Derby New Hampshire stating it was hand crafted in Mexico and I know it is at least 40 to 50 years old. It is light so it might be ceramic  but i'm not sure.
